The Pirate Piano series is designed to get 8-10 year olds excited about the piano.
Students learn to read music while playing pirate-themed songs.

By the end of the book, complete beginners will have learnt:
• to READ music on their own for the songs they play.
• the basics of fingering and healthy hand technique.
• How to read ‘sharps’ and ‘flats’ - the black keys on the piano.
• How to play 5 'hands-together' pirate songs!

The Pirate Piano Course has been completed by over 200 students and is particularly effective with video-game and sports-mad boys.
